....this guy have decided to get to know each other first before going into a relationship. So its like, half friends, half-date.
We have met up 4 times but he shows a lack of etiquette and manners - like first time we eat together he suggests we spilt the bill, or he would just buy his own cinema ticket and not offer to get mine, or when we go for a drink he hangs back at the bar, so i ultimately go to the bar and get the drinks in, or when in a shop he seems to hang back, so i just take the lead and go to the cashier to pay ffor both our stuff etc
My question is, as we are semi-dating (with the possibility to go into proper dating), would should i think about his lack of etiquette and manners? At this stage, should i not take it seriously?
Also, he has a full time job and lives with his parents, so does not have to pay rent, food etc and i live independently (without parents) and am also a full time student.
I am kinda semi-dating. I dont want to get into a relationship (cos of time wasters in the past), so me and...myspace layouts
Ask him for an explanation

Gosh he doesn't sound very gallant at all.
Personally i would feel embarassed letting a woman pay for anything on a date ( not very p.c i know)
For want of a better phrase, is he just tight?
If he responds like that i would consider him selfish at the best
Wouldnt that just be saying..." im not paying until i am getting something out of it" ?
Bloke sounds like a complete TOSSER
Dump it and find someone else
SERIOUSLY DUMP HIM
HE WANTS YOU TO BE HIS MOMMY
